Hair Salon in Eastern Creek Quarter
Located within the vibrant Eastern Creek Quarter shopping precinct, Haus of Moe is a stylish, Mediterranean-inspired hair salon. In a serene and welcoming environment, contemporary hair services are provided. The fitout was completed by Regiment Workshop in March 2026.
Interior Design Vision
Basalt Studio designed the space with a focus on soft, Mediterranean-inspired aesthetics that utilise a palette of earthy greens and textured whites.
The interior features elegant arched mirrors with integrated halo lighting and lush overhead greenery. The benchtop platform for the styling stations looks like it is floating, which creates a sense of ease. Sitting down on a sturdy chair, Haus of Moe feels like a sanctuary away from the busy ECQ Outlet environment.
Expert Fitout Services
Regiment Workshop was responsible for multiple aspects of this fitout, including flooring, wall re-facing, lighting, fabrication, and joinery. The reception desk is an example of our factory’s fabrication quality. Featuring fluted panelling and under-counter lighting, it’s a warm greeting to a customer.
Behind the reception desk is an elongated island on which we installed sleek, brass-edged shelving. A slender, black steel frame supports the shelving system and provides a clean architectural look. To further elevate the look and to highlight the merchandise on display, LED strip lighting was integrated within each shelf level.
The elongated island serves as a stylish display and storage area.
Integrated Styling Stations and Custom Benchtops
Regiment Workshop built the styling stations to be easy-to-use by stylists. Compartments provide storage for tools, and the positioning of the power outlets make tool usage efficient.
The benchtop platform (underneath the arched mirrors) is supported by concealed steel brackets. Looking like its “floating”, this structure maximises floor space.
Material was carefully chosen for the benchtop’s surface to continue Haus of Moe’s soft, organic aesthetic.
Minimalist Joinery & Lighting
Reclining hair wash stations were installed during a process which also involved plumbing coordination. Behind, the walls have been re-faced with an olive-green theme which nurtures a sense of calm.
The arched top of the cabinetry, together with its textured, off-white finishing, creates a soft, sculptural look. Its recessed areas provide storage for hair products. The globe sconces illuminating the hairwash area contribute to the artisanal feel.
Architectural Geometry & Mediterranean Textures
The fitout for Haus of Moe is defined by an intersection of soft, architectural geometry and textured, organic finishes. The overhead installation of lush greenery acts as a vibrant canopy, softening the industrial ceiling and reinforcing the Mediterranean-inspired theme.
The focus on gentle curves extends to even functional elements like the wash stations. Softer, rounder forms are a comforting contrast to the “clinical” straight lines often seen in retail environments. These forms keep the salon environment of Haus of Moe tranquil.
End-to-end Project Management
Navigating a specialised fitout within a major centre like Eastern Creek Quarter required rigorous project management to meet all centre compliance and construction standards. Regiment Workshop worked closely with Basalt Studio and centre management to ensure the final build was a perfect reflection of the original design intent.
From the initial site survey to the final handover, our delivery team stayed focused on buiding a high quality result within the scheduled timeframe.
