Wileaway is a gift shop unlike any other. It is a whimsical, immersive retail space designed to evoke curiosity and wonder at every turn.

Located in Oran Park Podium shopping centre in Sydney’s south-west, with a sister store in Marrickville, this charming boutique invites customers into a carefully curated world of stationery, toys, and thoughtful gifts.

The layout was purposefully designed to encourage a sensory, meandering journey through the specialty gift shop. Customers are guided by illuminated timber arches to explore hand-crafted cabinets filled with boutique gifts. The suspended sculptural elements add a playful touch, with the overhead paper plane and koi fish installations inspiring youthful imagination.

Perhaps the most outstanding demonstration of Regiment Workshop’s joinery expertise is the giant tree standing in the middle of Wileaway Oran Park. Delicately made at our factory in Bankstown, its branches are integrated with LED strips and globe string lights.

A key detail in the retail outfit, the tree enhances the dreamy, boutique atmosphere.
Integrated wall mounts and central display tables were meticulously crafted to maximise both storage and presentation. In particular, the open shelving with warm backlighting increases the feeling of depth to the store and highlights the diverse product range.

From concept to shopfitting implementation, our team collaborated closely with Wileaway to reflect their brand ethos in every material and detail. The result is a retail environment that transforms traditional shopping into an engaging, almost storybook-like experience.

True to the shop’s name, visitors are encouraged to “wile away” time.
